I would like to take a minute to tell the Trip Advisor Community how wonderful ALL of the staff at Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours are. I proposed to my best friend and Fiance Cassandra on a tour and it was the happiest moment of...

Realizing that the dog she'd thought was already dead was in fact still alive, she went to work trying to free it while the owl was still stunned and not moving. "I had to pry the talons out of the dog," Tymrak said. 2. Dog: Look soulful? Gotcha!Owl: Wait…. what do I do with my wings?!

Dogs are supposed to chase and harass birds, not befriend them. Someone forgot to tell Ingo the shepherd dog this fact because he gets along with birds just fine, in fact he might even fool you into thinking he is a bird! Okay, maybe not; but he might think he’s part-bird. After all, his best buddy is a little owl that is literally smaller than the Shepherd’s head.We are not 100% sold on the fact Poldi the owl is real, due to the bird’s lack of motion (not because we don’t believe an owl and a dog can be friends–we know they can be). Poldi just doesn’t seem to move much, but we will let you come to your own conclusions. Either way, the photos are beautiful and share a touching message.Brandt has several other dogs, and also shares her home with rehabilitated birds of many types, including owls. Poldi was the runt of the litter and Ingo sensed that the tiny bird needed a big brother to protect him. Ingo, who descends from a long line of police dogs (imagine that), has always been there to protect the little wayward owl from harm!, a professional animal photographer as well as collage artist based in Germany, managed to capture amazing photos of a sweet relationship formed by an owl and a dog who became best friends. These pictures were taken by a professional photographer from Germany. Included in the photos is Ingo, the Shepherd dog and Poldi, the owl. She truly captures what is going on between these animals, and that friendship is sure to last for a lifetime.Professional animal photographer of Germany took these amazing shots of an extremely unlikely pair: a dog and an owl. I would’ve never believed it if it weren’t for these pictures. Ingo the Shepherd and Poldi the owl seem like they love getting together for the photoshoots!Dog might be man’s best friend but Ingo’s best friend is an owl! Ingo truly appears to care about the sweet little owl as the pair get nice and close for the camera. These two do everything together, playing out in the forest, splashing around in the lake, or cuddling at home beneath the warmth of a blanket. The pair’s heartwarming portraits prove that no matter how different two animals (or humans) are, we can all still come together and enjoy this Earth as one.Ingo the shepherd dog and Poldi the little owl seem more than happy to cozy up to each other for photoshoots bathed in golden evening light. Disney, you know what you have to do with this!
