DIY Raised PVC Dog Bed - Little House. Big Heart. DIY knock-off of the Cool-A-Roo dog bed. I have been looking for this. Cool in the summer, elevated off the floor in winter, easy on the joints. Next project!"This is a raised doggie bed that I made recently for my daughter's dog using 1 inch pvc pipe and fittings for the foundation. Instead of gluing the joints, I used screws. Once the foundation was completed, I finished it off using 1/2 inch pvc pipe to support the pre-measured doggie pad for good support. I added rubber leg tips on all legs to prevent it from sliding around, especially on a wooden floors each time the dog gets on and off. Cats love it too.
