Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue was born out of my love for small dogs and desire to help those in need, and in memory of the loss of a dear family member. Dealing frequently with small breed puppies and retired breeder moms, we strive to find homes that are aware of the commitment to raising a small breed dog and to the patience needed in socializing and housebreaking a retired breeder mom who may have little idea what life in a home is all about. We are foster home based and are always looking for new foster homes to help us continue our love of rescuing dogs in need. We are happy to assist in owner surrender placements, especially those in need of surrendering their small dogs due to financial hardships, loss of a loved one, or dog owner entering assisted living facilities or nursing homes. We pride ourselves with a thorough search for that perfect home for a dog in need and follow up with phone calls to ensure things are going well. Tiny Paws will take back an adopted dog should the need arise within a reasonable notice and an available foster home has an open spot. Our goal is to someday own a building to house even more canine companions in need. We look forward to helping you find your family pet. At this time Chihuahua/Small Dog Rescue is unable to adopt dogs to individuals living outside of the Central Florida area (generally defined as within 200 miles of Orlando, Florida). Doodle Dawgs is a small organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of our smaller four-legged canine friends into quality loving homes. All of our precious rescued dogs are fostered in private residences where they have room to run, socialize, and live happy lives until being adopted.Second Chance Small Dog Rescue (SCSDR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Elkhart, Indiana. We are dedicated to giving a second chance to small dogs that are in need. We take in strays, retired breeders, owner surrenders, other rescues, and any other small dog in need. The dogs are placed in foster homes where emphasis is placed on getting them medically up to date, spayed or neutered, socialized, housebroken and obedience trained if needed. Our goal is to place our dogs in forever homes. We screen all applicants, and choose the home which best fits the dog's needs and the applicant's needs.
