When Suzie Q's diner moved from Abacoa Town Center to this new location in Newhaven, I was very excited and I had high hopes for a reasonably priced local breakfast spot. I really wanted the business to succeed. Sometimes, however, the principals just can't pull it off. Overall, I give the food a C. The food can be B+ at times but is more often a C. Cleanliness is a C to a D. Floors are sometimes dirty. Tables are sometimes dirty and then there are the DOGS...in the last three visits I've made dogs were allowed into the interior restaurant dining area (NOTservice dogs, just local dogs). I LIKE dogs. I've rescued dogs for 20 years. I go out of my way to help dogs. BUT I DON'T"T WANT TO EAT WITH THEM WHEN I GO TO A RESTAURANT!!! I've heard customers complain and I've seen customers leave in mid-meal because of this but the owner keeps letting the dogs in (despite the violation of Florida's health code). I think the owner(s) of this restaurant are incapable of understanding the ramifications of cleanliness in a restaurant setting. The food is mediocre, but not horrible, and the prices are a little higher than they might be for this type of food. My family and I will not return.

Suzie Q is a little darling...ok not so little as she is a bit overweight. . She likes getting lots of attention and wants to be by the side of her human, just like she liked to stay right by the side of her doggie momma when she was rescued as an orphan.Suzie-Q is deaf, but she doesn’t know she is lacking in any way. She is a typical happy go lucky sweet girl. She is great with other dogs, people, etc. She is being fostered in Redding, CA, potty trained and know commands. She is looking for her furever home. Her ideal home would be a home with another dog and with no small children (because deaf dogs can get startled when they don’t see little kids coming). Please open up your home and your heart for this wonderful girl.Jim the Dog Is Really a Girl: Her name is Suzie Q! "I call her the Tilda Swinton of dog actors," laughed Rondi Reed (Peggy). "She was a shelter dog, and this was her first big gig. She lives with 12 other dogs, and she runs all of them."Suzie Q ALMOST didn’t selected to go to Petsmart adoptions a couple of weeks ago. And this couple ALMOST walked by without noticing her. But she did and they didn’t, and now she’s no longer a homeless dog! Thank you for giving this sweet gal a chance at happiness!Suzie Q, a Berkeley Pekingese/Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Welsh Corgi for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Pekingese/Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Berkeley. They say angels walk the earth but now, thanks to SuzieQ, we think of them as white and fuzzy with a polka dot nose. Perhaps the world’s sweetest dog, SuzieQ was the family pet people dream of. This beautiful dog loved all living things and touched everyone she met. She performed ballet at dinner, licked your face expertly and cocked her head at you to hear your every word. She adored rolling in the grass and, at the end, when she was sick, we just sat in the grass with her, sharing the sun and her soft spirit. She had a hard early life but we send her all our love and see her in heaven on a soft lawn, dancing in joy with her loved ones. SuzieQ died June 6, 2015.
