Generic Wormer Tablets for Dogs

Is it normal for dogs to be sick after worming? Should I try a different worming tablet?

This is the ONLY wormer we use for puppies and small dogs. We purchased the generic Drontal Plus for the larger dogs so we only have to give 1 pill of that product (we also buy it from PetShed). We have been using this product for over 10 years and have NEVER had a positive fecal. We dose as soon as we take in a rescue and redose in 30 days. The tablets are easy to break for smaller doses for pups. We have never had any problems with PetShed and buy all of our worming products from them, never a problem. This is a great product and we Highly Recommend it!!!
Note: For puppies or small dogs weighing less than 25 lbs., use D-Worm™ Dog Dewormer Chewable Tablets For Puppies & Small Dogs.

There are several formulas of wormer for dogs and cats. For young animals, suspension or syrup are an excellent choice, providing the right balance of pet meds for a completely safe treatment and easy dosage. Tablets are a popular choice for treating adult felines and canines for worms. If you have multiple pets to treat, buy tablets in bulk. Not only does this make sure that you always have enough pet meds on hand to worm all of your pets, but it is an economical option, so that you save cash while getting the same quality of product as you do in smaller packs. While some wormer tablets only treat specific types of worms -for example a , or roundworm medicine, others, known as allwormer control a wider spectrum. Allwormer type medicines give a good level of protection and are excellent value for money. Note: For puppies/small dogs weighing less than 25 lbs., use Wormer Flavored Dog Wormer Tablets for Puppies and Small Dogs.

Whipworms are thread-like worms which typically live in the large intestines of dogs, and may cause symptoms such as mucousy or bloody stool, low appetite, and . These worms also suck blood and cause anemia. Whipworms are difficult to diagnose, as a microscopic exam of several fecal samples may be necessary to detect them. Whipworms can also be one of the most difficult worms to eliminate but they are both treatable and preventable. Each Dog Worms 3 chewable tablet contains pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel. Pyrantel pamoate causes the parasite to lose grip of the intestinal wall, which makes it pass out of the system naturally. Praziquantel damages the parasite's skin internally, so the parasite disintegrates and is removed by your dog's immune system.PetMeds Dog Worms 3 is an FDA-approved broad spectrum de-wormer for dogs and puppies.
